The Institution of the Lord's Supper: (Mark14:22-25) (1 Corinthians 11:23-32)
THE BLOOD OF JESUS WILL SPEAK ON OUR BEHAVE DAILY AS WE FAST AND PRAY.
There will be fasting and praying period for the whole Church during the Passion week of Yeshua Hamashiach meaning (The Anointed One). The week is called Holy week from Sunday 14th April to Saturday 20th April each day from 06.00am - 12noon and beyond. The theme for the fasting and prayer is "THE BLOOD WILL SPEAK DAILY OVER MY LIFE". The main scriptures for the fast is (Mathew 18:19 and Mark 11:24-26)
Passion week is a time we remember the events of Jesus Christ between Palm Sunday and his resurrection. We see the passionate life Jesus lived and the Passion through which he died. The Passion week also called The Holy week takes place between Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday also called {Resurrection Sunday}. The name Passion week represents the Passion with which Jesus willingly went to the cross for us. He did this to pay for our sins. Let’s be encouraged to read the whole of Luke chapter 22, 23, 24 and Luke chapter 19. 28-48 during this fasting period.
PRAYER POINTS TO BE FOCUSED ON
Sunday – 14th April {Palm Sunday} - Palm Sunday is known as Passion Sunday in recognition of the beginning of the Passion Week and Jesus final agonising journey to his crucifixion. Jesus began his trip to Jerusalem, knowing that soon he would lay down his life for our sins
PRAYER - Thank God for the benefits of the blood of Jesus.
Let’s thank God for saving us through the blood of Jesus – Ephesians 1.7
Let’s thank God we are forgiven through the blood of Jesus – Hebrews 9.22
Let’s thank God we have eternal life by the blood of Jesus.
Monday – 15th April {Holy Monday} As Jesus returned on Monday to Jerusalem, he noticed a fig tree that had produced leaves ahead of season but since the fig tree bore leaves he expected to find figs, yet it was fruitless. Jesus cursed the tree and it withered the next day.
PRAYER - Pray to Plead the blood of Jesus against fruitless efforts in your life.
Tuesday - 16th April – Holy Tuesday - On Holy Tuesday the conspiracies to trap Jesus escalated. Israel’s religious leaders had one goal to get rid of Jesus of Nazareth.
PRAYER - Pray that the blood of Jesus speak confusion into the camp of the enemy concerning your life in Jesus name.
Wednesday – 17th April – Holy Wednesday – On Wednesday, Christians remember the day Judas Iscariot first conspired with the Sanhedrin to betray Jesus
PRAYER - Pray to Plead the blood of Jesus against any evil spirit working against you and invading your family life.
Thursday – 18th April - Maundy Thursday - On Maundy Thursday, believers remember the last meal Jesus Christ had with his disciples prior to his arrest and crucifixion. Jesus went to the garden of Gethsemane to pray as he waited for his hour to come. It was there that Jesus having been betrayed by Judas was arrested and taken to several trials before the chief Priest, Pontius Pilate and Herod. Jesus endured six unfair trials. During this time, Jesus survived painful beating, whipping and mocking. Pilate tried to compromise with the religious leaders by having Jesus released to avoid the punishment of beaten but this act didn’t satisfy them, so Pilate handed Jesus over to be crucified. Jesus was mocked by the soldiers.
PRAYER - Pray that the blood of Jesus minister defeat to every evil work in your life.
Friday – 19th April – Good Friday – Jesus was crucified at Golgotha, which means the Place of the Skull
PRAYER - Pray that the blood of Jesus be released on your behalf and let it speak against every dead situation and circumstances in your life.
Saturday – 20th April – Holy Saturday. On Saturday of Passion Week, we remember the time Jesus spent in the tomb ‘So they sealed the tomb and posted guards to protect it’. The Resurrection of Jesus ends Passion week with a victorious celebration.
PRAYER - Pray that every door that you have opened to the enemy, knowingly or unknowingly through any ignorant be closed permanently by the Blood of Jesus.
Our General Monthly Meeting (GMM) is held on the last Sunday of every month, between the hours of 12:45pm to 1:15pm (Unless announced otherwise). The meeting takes place at the premises of the Christ In Action International Christian Worship Centre our Sanctuary of Worship also known as Christ's Diplomatic Embassy.
