In the days of the Egyptian era, in their arrogance, pride, ego, rebellion, stubbornness and disobedience to God, they suffered many unprecedented pandemic tragedies. they went through Ten solid plagues which can never be forgotten in the history of mankind and in the history of the world. At the time that was what their deed deserves so they have to go through it all because each generation goes through their own punishment according to their own committed sins against the Almighty God. See Psalm 24:1.
Do you by any chance remember the following historical events? The time of Noah with the "Flood”? Sodom and Gomorrah’s punishment by “Fire”? Now, what event will unfold in our time? What kind of punishment will this lawless generation face? What pain would we suffer under God’s great wrath rekindled against us for our continues disobedience, arrogance, pride, ego, complacency, too opinionated, dishonouring, disrespectful, unkind with such great rebellion against God in all our ways? Is it going to be like Noah’s time with the Flood? Or the great Fire of Sodom and Gomorrah? Exactly as it was recorded in the demise of the people of Sodom and Gomorrah. Or are we going to revisit the repercussions of the Egyptian plagues once again? Or are we going to experience bits of every punishment ever set on human insubordination against God throughout the generations past? Or would it be in a different format this time? Oh, No. Not at all. unfortunately no one knows what God has in-stock for this rebellious and uncultured generation, nobody can tell what God has prepared for this sinful, wicked, abominable and shameful generation. What we are facing in our world today is as a result of people's disregard to God's Leadership, His Ordinance, Sovereignty and Majesty. The set punishment for this generation is beyond pardon, the great sorrow nations are about to face is nothing compared to what God has prepared for this rebellious, disobedient, arrogant, stubborn, selfish, corrupt, antagonising and dishonouring generation.
Romans 6:1-4 CEV - Dead to Sin, Alive to God
What should we say? Should we keep on sinning, so that God's gift of undeserved grace will show up even better? 2 No, we should not! If we are dead to sin, how can we go on sinning? 3 Don't you know that all who share in Christ Jesus by being baptized also share in his death? 4 When we were baptized, we died and were buried with Christ. We were baptized, so we would live a new life, as Christ was raised to life by the glory of God the Father.
In every situation and circumstances, we learn great lessons from them, this pandemic is an idea to remind us all that this world will defiantly end one day. A day is coming where there will be no activity of any kind just as we are experiencing in some part of the world right now with deserted cities and ghost towns but before then, ask yourself these seven simple questions. 1. Why were you born? 2. Why are you here? 3. What’s your purpose here on earth? 4. What’s the meaning of your life? 5. What have you contributed to this world? 6. What have you taken away from others unjustly? 7. Where are you going after your last day here on earth? Does these 7 questions sound familiar?
It's only a fool who doesn’t learn from his or her mistakes.
Just one plague, only one virus, one pandemic. And the whole world has come to a halt. The entire world with its ever-busy activities and schedules stood still. Just one plague, only one virus, one pandemic. And the entire world’s Economy is shut down. Schools are shut down. Offices shut down, Streets deserted, beaches abandon even in the summer. Just one single plague, only one virus, one pandemic. And Mecca sent back worshipers. Just one plague, only one virus, one pandemic. And Jerusalem turned away their Tourists Just one plague, only one virus, one pandemic. And The Vatican City is completely closed Just one plague, a virus, one epidemic. And the world's governments are totally humbled Just one plague, only one virus, one pandemic. And the world acclaimed most strongest, most powerful is mesmerised and completely overwhelmed with life's extreme shock and fear. Just one plague, only one virus, one pandemic. And the world’s super power is thrown into total confusion. Just one plague, only one virus, one pandemic. And people everywhere in every nation, everybody is scampering for safety, the hope to live again.
Just one plague, only one virus, one pandemic. And Churches around the world, the entire Christian community is totally shut down. Mosques are closed off completely, all major sports are postponed, clubs are sealed off. Just one plague, only one virus, one pandemic. And the entertainment industry is groaning mournfully, addicted members and fans are going berserk. Just one plague, only one virus, one pandemic has changed the course of livelihood by disqualifying our social unity with warnings like. “Don’t shake hands again” “Wash your hands every 20 seconds” “Don’t hug each other again” “Don’t socialise anymore” “Step away two-meter space distance from everyone and anyone”.
Before this pandemic, plague or virus. There were nations threatening other nations for war. There were terrorists like (Boko-Haram) terrorising and imposing their sanctions of powers over the innocent and vulnerable nations. There were countries bullying other countries. There was war in Syria. There was ongoing conflict daily in the Palestinian Peninsula. There was revolt in Iran. There was crisis in Turkey. There were protests and Political Unrest all over. Where did it all go? This tells us or suggests to us that we can all live in peace with each other if we want to. Now the world with it excessive powers can testify that power passes power. They can also admit that they lack the skill to fight or engage themselves in the unseen deadly spiritual warfare as deliberately provoked by this virus. Because the pandemic, or the plague surfaced and quieted everything at once
Wars ceases for this virus. Olympic is shutting down for the virus. Everybody ran to their homes or houses never to come out except for life’s essential needs. Couldn’t we have done this before now? I wonder why. Where purpose is not known abuse is inevitable.
What would you do against the release of plagues, upon plagues, upon plagues but this time a person would want to die to end all misery but he or she will not even have the privilege to. When the Trumpet sound and Jesus Christ comes to His own. He will only go with His very own people whom He has chosen, selected, separated and set apart for His divine glory from the world's lustful desires, pleasures and immorality. He calls such individuals His good and faithful servants. Now ask yourself this simple question, are you that faithful servant of Christ Jesus. Remember that He'll only go with those He has cleansed, justified, purified, deputised and washed with His unstained precious Blood.
